I have been so busy this year that I did
not really had the time to reflect on the True Christmas Story. The
tale that took place years and years ago, I have been so hard at work
this Christmas working on reporting about the “let it Snow” feature that
Google have released recently, and following Santa class with the Norad
Santa Tracker, That I did not really had time to reflect on the “True
Christmas Story.
A Christmas story that played of years
ago in Israel in a City called Bethlehem. It is the only reason and most
fundamental reason why millions of Christians worldwide celebrates
Christmas.
A Christmas Story which is the most
important story you will ever read. Sometimes it is so easy to forget
the true meaning of Christmas. It is not difficult for Christians to get
caught up in life that they forget the true meaning of the Christmas
Story and the birth of Jesus Christ.
The story dates back +/- 2000 years ago
when Jesus Christ were born in Bethlehem. I am going to give a short
overview of a Christmas story for those that are not familiar with the
“True Story of Christmas”.
Maria the “Virgin Mother” fell pregnant
with Jesus Christ. Close to the time when Maria was due to give birth.
Caesar Augustus which was the ruler at the time ordered one of the first
censuses to take place in Israel.
Maria and Joseph needed to be counted,
and they went to Bethlehem their hometown to be counted. They left the
town of Galilean at the last moment because of Maria’s condition. When
they arrived in Bethlehem all the Hotels and Keeps were full. Joseph
searched everywhere in town for a comfortable place for him and Maria.
At the end of a long journey for them
they could not find any decent place to sleep for the night. Finally
Joseph negotiated with a Keep owner that they can sleep in his barn.
That night Maria gave birth to her son Jesus Christ in the Barn in
Bethlehem. She wrapped him in blankets and laid him in manger because
there were no rooms for them in the Hostels.
Something very significant happened that
evening. Sheppard’s close by to Bethlehem was watching over their
sheep. Suddenly they saw Angels appearing to them, they were terrified
by this magnificent happening. The angels said to them that they should
not be afraid. The Angels said to the Sheppard’s that they are here to
announce A Great en Joyful event that is meant for everybody worldwide.
The Angels Announced the birth of Jesus
Christ to the Sheppard’s saying to them that their Savior has just been
born in a Manger in a Barn in Bethlehem, A savior who is Messiah and
Master were born. The Angels said to the Sheppard’s that they must go to
Bethlehem and look for Jesus Christ wrapped in a blanket and lying in a
manger.
After the Angels have left the
Sheppard’s talked to each other and immediately agreed that they must go
to Bethlehem to see for themselves what God has revealed to them.
“Glory to God in the heavenly heights, Peace to all men and women on earth who please him”
The Sheppard’s left for Bethlehem to
find Jesus and see for themselves, the Savior of the World. It was not
hard to find Mary and Joseph and the baby lying in the barn, in the
manger.
They brought praise to the lord; and then they went out and told everyone their Christmas Story.
